As Jimi Hendrix was an early influence, I was so enamored by his guitar skills and sheer musicality I know from an early age that I would try to be as good he him.
It is no surprise that I now found myself performing his songs and like to think I can create a style of guitar playing that emulates his style and can put my own spin of the actual solos and riffs he is famous for.
One high note was being asked to perform the front man in a Jimi Hendrix show, ‘Purple Haze’ produced by Metrojam Promotions and found that they had got it to London Live TV which was broadcast on the exact date 50 years after his death as a memorial commemorative show.
